Carmelo Anthony was on fire in the first half of the game scoring 22 of his 30 points. The Knicks beat the Lakers 116-107 with a lead as big as 26 points on yes you guessed it 3 point shooting. Yet the Knicks lost Anthony to injury to his left ankle in the third quarter. But the Knicks still had enough to hold on to be their former coach Mike Dantoni and keep the Lakers reeling. With the loss the Lakers 9-14 and near the bottom of the Western Conference which is an unusual place for the Lakers. For the Knicks the win put their record at 17-5 tops in the Eastern Conference 2 games over the Miami Heat.

I am a lifelong New York Mets, Knicks and Jets and Giants fan. I root hard for my teams and have rooted for them even when it wasn't and in some cases still isn't easy. I enjoy talking sports, and on here I get to write about it as well. I have my thoughts hence Small thoughts, we will not always agree, but respectfully speak about what we feel.
