It didn’t last long, the good feelings that come from winning 3 striaght. Yes the wins were at home but when you are the Lakers and you are reeling as bad as they were a win is a win. Too bad the Lakers had to take their act on the road where they were 5-15 on the road this season, now after playing in Phoenix make them 5-16 as the Suns beat the Lakers 92-86. Michael Beasley scored a season-high 27 points and the Phoenix Suns rallied from 13 down in the fourth quarter to hand the Los Angeles Lakers their eighth straight road loss. 92-86 on Wednesday night.
Kobe Bryant continued to look for his teammates and keep them involved in the offense, Bryant had 17 points and nine assists, but missed what would have been the tying layup with 24 seconds to play. Howard had nine points and 14 rebounds before he left after aggravating the shoulder injury that sidelined him for three games earlier this month. Metta World Peace scored 15, Pau Gasol 14 and Jamison 13 for Los Angeles.
The Lakers continue their road trip with their next stop in Minnesota against the Timberwolves.
They better solve their other problem quickly! After last night’s defeat, they now have lost eight straight games on the road. That will not bode well for any team, much less a Kobe led one..
