Chris Paul to resign with the Clippers

Chris Paul

Unless something out of the blue were to happen, Chris Paul has made it clear that he will resign with the Clippers and has told his reps not to talk to other teams. That has to be good news for the Clippers and their new head coach Doc Rivers. He can not officially sign with the Clippers until July 10th, but all signs point to the elite point guard making Los Angeles his home for the next 5 years at 107 million dollars. With Paul in the fold the Clippers will address the rest of their roster if they want to stay in the upper echelon in the Western Conference. One report has the Clips interested in signing O.J. Mayo who opted out of his contract with the Dallas Mavericks and is unrestricted free agent.
If you are a Clippers fan picture that backcourt pairing. CP3 with O.J. Mayo not bad!

    1. why would he leave unless he was coming to the Knicks? With the Clkippers he would make the most money and they can build around him and Blake Griffin.

      1. Like I said he was never going anywhere..The Knicks could only afford to pay him like 3 weeks salary. We are so stuck with that$85 million left on Amare’s contract. Just another in a long line of horrible contracts written by the Knicks. It’s right up there with Jerome James and Eddie Curry…

      2. The difference between Amare and the othe rtwo clowns is that he at least plays when he is healthy and wanted to come to the Knicks, the other clowns had to be talked into coming to NY and didn’t play when healthy
