According to one published report :
0-7 To say that head coach Greg Schiano is embattled is to say that Congress has an image problem. When the streets of Tampa are lined with “Fire Schiano” signs and the defensive coordinator is inviting fans into meetings rooms for game-planning sessions, the brakes on the car have been cut and it’s a fast trip downhill.
Perhaps the most interesting response came from cornerback Darrelle Revis, who clearly thought he was joining a contender in Tampa.
Revis was asked if he thought the younger Bucs players still believed in the coaching staff. His first three words, via JoeBucsFan.com, which were repeated once, are telling:
“I don’t know. I don’t know.” Revis said. “You know, we got a game plan every week. We gotta stick to the gameplan. We gotta abide by the gameplan and what we’re trying to do to win. I don’t think guys are literally going out there and trying to do their own thing. You know, in every game there are mistakes up and down the board. You know, the word that we have to get to and we have to focus on is consistency. That’s all. And at this point, that’s a hard word for us to try to do, to try to do that, to be consistent.”
Schiano’s status is tenuous at best, but he appears to be at no risk to be fired just yet, per NFL Network’s Michael Silver.
But when Revis was given a chance to issue a lifeline to Schiano later, per the report, he passed at the opportunity. And regarding the billboards, Revis didn’t offer much of an opinion either.
“I’m not really looking into it. I didn’t pay for it. I didn’t put it up,” Revis said.
So Schiano remains coach for now. The star corner isn’t sure the young players are anywhere close to being in lockstep. Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more …

Going to be a long season for Revis and the Bucs. First they lost their star running back Doug Martin, and now WR Mike Williams..
and soon they will lose their coach, do you think revis wishes he was with the Jets now?
Well, the Jets ARE better than the Bucs so far but I really don’t feel like they’re going to be in the playoffs just yet..Still N.Y. is a better team to play for than Tampa Bay.
Honestly, I can see the Bucs going winless this season if they don’t get a few players to replace those who are injured. I like Mike James and am curious to see how he fares in his second start next week.
