Mc Cann signs with the Yankees 5 years …85 million

A source told me that the Yankees interest in Mc Cann was genuine and date back as early as the all star break. It was clear that the Yankees needed to upgrade at catcher and Mc Cann fit the bill. On the front end of his contract expect him to catch alot on the back end it makes sense to because McCann will more likely see time at First base and at DH.An option for a 6th year could make the deal 100 million. The Yankees are said to be in pursuit of Carlos Beltran to add to the roster. In the mean time New york’s other team…remains quiet. Let’s hope they start making noise soon.
