He wears number 22 like he did with the Yankees and not 24 (Ken Griffey Jr’s number) but he does look different with the beard. Putting on the Mariners colors isn’t the same as the Yankee pinstripes. Will the expectations be higher for Robinson Cano as a Mariner as opposed to being a Yankee? As a Yankee he was part of the Yankee lineup he blended in, with Seattle he is their lineup so expect the higher expectations that come with the 240 million price tag.At that salary Cano will not be able to just blend in, he is going to be expected to lead. Now the question is Cano lead the M’s?
