Rants: Peyton Manning …picked the worse time to have his worse game of the year against the Bengals getting picked off 4 times in a 37-28 loss. The loss clinched home field throughout the playoffs for the New England Patriots. Can you see Peyton going to Foxboro and beating the Patriots there? Me neither.
Rants:Woody Johnson …this pins and needles leaking to the media about whether or not you are going to fire Rex Ryan is tacky say one way or the other or just get it done and fire both the coach and the general manager.
Rants: Detroit Pistons… Can anyone explain why they cut the talented Josh Smith? Especially after spending somemuch money to get him in the first place. Not a good start for Stan Van Gundy in the Motor City.
Raves: Kentucky Wild Cats: UCLA is still trying to get the number of that truck that hit’em what the Wildcats did was serve notice to everyone in the NCAA that they are no joke this season. Take them seriously. They held UCLA to 7 points at halftime. The ref should have called a mercy rule, it was awful to be a Bruins fan and watch that. I’m sure all the past players from UCLA were embarrassed. Ok I know UCLA isn’t the UCLA I grew up knowing but …they are still good and one of the top teams in the nation and Kentucky just made a mess of them…WOW!
Raves: Arizona Cardinals Head coach Bruce Arians… If he doesn’t win coach of the year they need to do a recount, he wins with second string, third string and fourth string quarterbacks…11-4 second in the NFC Western Division the man can coach.
Raves: New York Islanders… We are showing some love to New York’s truly forgotten franchise …the New York Islanders. After 34 games so far …The Isles are 23-11 (13-4 at home) (10-7 on the road) they are no longer an easy night on the ice for an opponent. It is good to see this franchise finally becoming a force in Hockey again.
