Do you remember when everyone or it seemed like everyone kept talking about Tim Tebow? the next big thing in the NFL? Remember the controversy that was caused in both Denver and New York? In Denver he was known as the guy who won all those games (7in a row) on their way to the playoffs then beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the playoffs, before losing to the New England Patriots in the next round. That wasn’t enough to keep Tebow in Denver. The Broncos traded the popular QB to the New York Jets for two draft picks and with much fan fare. The Jets promised to use Tebow in the Wildcat offense and on special teams …neither one worked and the QB who was said to be a winner couldn’t unseat Mark Sanchez as the starter even when it appeared Sanchez was not effective. The sad part in this is that for the past two seasons that Tebow has not played football there are teams that could have signed Tebow even to their practice squads. Yet no one signed the former Heisman Trophy winner. Buffalo who finally talked Kyle Orton out of retirement to quarterback, didn’t make a move to Tebow. While the Jets were the circus with Tebow on board they too came to the conclusion that he just didn’t fit.
The Tim Tebow experiment lasted only one season in New York as the Jets cut Tebow on April 29, 2013 after drafting Geno Smith. After being cut by the Jets he was picked up by the New England Patriots, he signed a two year, non guaranteed contract on June 11, 2013 and then cut by the team on August 31, 2013.
So what happened to Tim Tebow since his release from the Patriots?

Tebow is an analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network.
When he was hired as a college football analyst for the fledgling SEC Network last year, Tebow said he still hopes to play quarterback in the NFL.

At the time ABC said Thursday that the Heisman Trophy winner is joining the program as a contributor starting Monday.
Tebow will be part of the show’s new “Motivate Me Monday” segment that highlights people and their stories of triumph. ABC says he’ll appear in the studio and from locations across America.
