Rants:Houston Rockets…for firing Kevin McHale 11 games into the NBA season with a 4-7 record. It has been reported since the firing that the stars of the team Harden and Howard basically did what they wanted to do and not play team ball so instead of benching the players or firing the players …the coach gets tossed, mind you this team didn’t listen to the coaches so do you think firing the head coach is going to make them listen to his replacement?
Rants:Peyton Manning : We are at the sad ending to a great career for a all time great quarterback, while getting benched doesn’t seem fair But it’s become painful to watch interception after interception…The Broncos are trying to put a injury face to his performance but just watch and your eyes are telling you what’s real…the end.
Rants:Champions League …So if you no longer can play in the NBA and your past your prime, you are going to go on a champions tour for basketball players? Ouch! That’s going to be hard to watch.
Raves: Golden State Warriors …Their come from behind 23 points to the Clippers in the Clippers to win by 7, just went to serve notice that the Warriors are to be taken seriously. And are proving that winning the title last season was no fluke. The Warriors are 13-0 so far this season.
Raves: Bryce Harper and Josh Donaldson …Usually we don’t mention two players at the same time but in this case both have been named NL and AL MVP’s. Harper at 22 is the youngest to win the award and Josh Donaldson won it over Mike trout who seems to get snubbed every year. With Donaldson winning the award you have to wonder Oakland ‘s Billy beane had both Donaldson and Cespedes on his roster at the same time, Donaldson won the MVP in the American League and Cespedes led the Mets to the World Series yet Billy Beane is considered a baseball genius …seriously?
Raves:Jacksonville Jaguars… Don’t look now but the Jags are with the 19-13 win over the Titans are 4-6 and a half game behind the Colts for 1st place in the AFC South. Yes I know how can any one lose to Jacksonville they stink, well …if you take your opponent lightly even in the NFL you will lose. And the Jags are playing with confidence which makes a difference when you are trying to build a winning team like the Jags are looking to do after being bad for so long.
