Smallthoughts: Old School Tuesday …Jesse Orosco

He has wore many hats in his career but Orosco will be best known for wearing the orange and blue (Met colors) and best known for getting the final out of the 1986 world series and tossing his glove in the air, dropping to his knees and being mobbed on the mound at Shea Stadium. His Met career was from 1979 to 1987 and though he pitched for other teams he is always fondly remembered as a Met.
