Met fans will tell last season a ball hit to shortstop was cause for hold your breath and hope for the best. No such feeling exist for Met fans this season. So far this season Cabrera line is (2 Homers 9 RBIS 295 Batting average 10 runs scored) not bad. At the time when the Mets sign Asdrubal Cabrera I felt he was an immediate upgrade offensively and defensively over what they had from last season. His fielding has wowed fans and his hitting has impressed. Okay maybe he could hit more than 2 homers…but it’s reasonable the homers will come especially in the lineup which has shown the ability to go back to back in flash.
So far we like what we have seen from Cabrera and hope that there is more good play to come.
