As good as things are for the city of Cleveland’s sports teams things aren’t so good for the former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel.
Quarterback Johnny Manziel has been suspended four games, the NFL announced Thursday. The suspension is for violating the NFL‘s substance-abuse policy, and the free agent quarterback could face further discipline over his domestic violence case if he signs with another team.
Manziel, 23, is a free agent after being released by the Cleveland Browns earlier this year. His four-game suspension becomes effective immediately. If he signs with a team, Manziel would be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season and conceivably could play in Week 5.
There was such hype for Johnny Football when he came out of Texas A&M. He failed to realize that he was given an opportunity of a lifetime to play in the NFL it’s not a right it’s an opportunity that he has wasted. Not to mention the toll his partying is taking on his life as a whole. He has to answer for his behavior and a domestic abuse charge against his ex girlfriend…He was hyped as something special…he something special alright …wasted opportunity. Will he learn from the mess he has made realizing he has hit bottom?
