The numbers are staggering 40 million per for 4 years 160 million and 126 million guaranteed, a no trade and no tag provision. So the price for a franchise QB went up…Patrick Mahomes leads the pack with 45 million Dak Prescott is now second with 40 million. Deshawn Watson is 3rd with 39 million. Rounding out the top five of top paid QBs are Russell Wilson at 35 million and tied for 5th is Aaron Rodgers and Jared Goff with 33.5 million. Now one can understand why the New York Jets who are drafting 2nd in the NFL Draft and thinking long and hard about what to do with their quarterback position. A lot rides on it.
