Rants: Jenry Mejia…suspended for 80 games which is half a season for PED use. Was it worth it? Raves : New York Mets …they needed to get off to a good start (6-3) of a 3 game sweep of the Phillies and in spite of an injury (David Wright) a suspension (Jenry Mejia) the Mets are getting clutch hits from Cuddyer and Duda and they are getting pitching and the Bullpen Is holding it’s own… Yes it is early but the signs are pointing up for the woe is me Mets.
Raves: New York Hockey…Both the Rangers and the Islanders are in the NHL Playoffs and New York fans will be crazy with passion if both teams meet in the second round of the playoffs. The Islanders who have been awful for a long time now have a chance to give their fams reason to cheer loud and long , and the Rangers had Hockey’s best record this season winning the President’s trophy…so no hype needed if these two clash in round two
